Typographical Errors aka Typos

Everone has had that momenr when they have embarrassed themself by typing something wronf or silly.
For example, me! You must have noticed the awful errors I made (unintentionally) while typing; momenr moment and wronf wrong. Did it ever occur to you why we type such absurd spellings even if we felt that the right key was pressed?
Before knowing the reasons, we should know what typos are. Well, typographical errors (also known as typos) are the mistakes we make while typing some word or sentence; but don't confuse typos with spelling mistakes. Both are two different things.

Typos are the typing mistakes we do unknowingly as well as unwillingly but spelling mistakes are the typing mistakes we do while knowing it subconsciously and willing it subconsciously. There's a cloud of doubt floating over our heads (most times) when we make spelling mistakes but we never doubt or rethink the typos we made. Doing a spelling mistake usually means writing/typing the spelling of some different word which is similar (in spelling) to the required word but typos generally happen when we accidentally press the key in vicinity of the required key.

Here is a simple example for explaining,
  1. Spelling Mistakes : Writing 'hair' instead of 'heir' or  writing 'sour' instead of 'soar'. You can observe that the people tend to write either homophone(in former example) or homograph (in latter example) which happens due to the lack of complete knowledge about the required word.
  2. Typing Mistake(Typo) : Writing 'nellow' instead of 'mellow' or writing 'yoy' instead of 'you'. You can observe that the people tend to mistype the word by pressing any key near to the required key.
